I think thats the best piece of advice.
You need to figure out exactly what you want from your DD/beach buggy.
The Liberty, especially the KK can be a beast if you do the correct modifications.
The KK is a smoother Daily Driver ride versus the JK.
Not to mention the conversion to Wrangler is a lot more money in the long run. The Wrangler is already a good 7k more than the Liberty (at least it was with my configurations). Then you have to start the upgrades. Yes, the Wrangler in stock form can tackle quite a bit of terrain, but if you want that aggressive stance and look, then you will want to add a lift and tires, which comes out to a little more than the lift on the liberty.. Not to mention the other 'not so necessary' mods you can do to the Wrangler, which add up quickly.
Going back to what you want your vehicle to actually do (offroad), is another big aspect of your decision.
