Was thinking of touching up the rear frame rails before putting the hitch on and was wondering what eveyone is using to touch up the under carriage after scrapes, getting rid of rust spots trying to gain a foothold, etc.

I took a look around under there and can't seem to identify what the factory used to coat everything (slight factory overspray making color match a PITA). Not sure if it's a primer or paint. I would like to keep the factory matching color scheme so it blends and doesn't look like it was wrecked and put back together by idiots who didn't know what they were doing. Thanks all ...

I'd do it all. No worrying about matching colors, and you probably wouldn't have to do it again.

Or if you don't want to do that, sand that rust off and hit it with some rubberized undercoat, and who cares if it matches.

The whole underside of mine is scrubbed down and painted at least twice a year
