Alright, traveling down the interstate start having to brake and there's a shimmy. Finally goes away but when I brake it pulls to the left and the left front wheel smells terrible. So probably stuck caliper. any suggestions about fixing it?

thanks

Alright, so I was scheduled for an appointment at a jeep dealership for some other services tomorrow but problem is, it's 25 miles away runnin on the interstate. It's probably going to be a bad idea to make that drive on a stuck caliper isn't it?

Ugh.

It could also be the pins the calipers slide on, they could be seized making it seem like the caliper piston itself is seized. If you have to drive it as apossed to getting it towed you could always push the caliper pistons in and use the propper brake hose clamps on the affected caliper. But if you go that far you would have diagnosed the problem at that point and you could fix it yourself. If you do drive with the correct brake hose clamps on, be very aware you will have NO braking on that wheel and will get a very wicked pull (if it's a front caliper) and will cause the other wheels to work harder causing more problems or get you into an accident.
