Wonder when there will be a EVIC feature that integrates the price of fuel and the vehicle fuel economy.
This would give an instant readout of Miles/Kilometers per Dollar/Euro/Pound, and with trip totals given in currency values. This might be an incentive for a light foot on the throttle and lower cruising speed.
And if average vehicle depreciation rates were factored in it would get really scary.

Maybe installing the meter from an old Checker cab that announced each 10th of a mile traveled with an audible click would have the same psychological effect.

No it would just get really annoying when driving 300 miles per day running errands.
