I had a weird thing happened to me a few nights ago and again tonight. Both times I was driving on a less than smoooth city street. what happened was most of the warning lights in the insterment panel came on then went off... tonight the backlighting even blinked out for a second then every thing came back on like nothing was wrong. the engine kept running never missing a beat and all the head lights and such stayed on too. I'm thinking a loose or bad connection someplace but not sure where to start looking. anyone have anything like this happen and where and what was it? where should I start?

I think the 06's had a wiring issue - where they had moved the wiring harness to make way for the ESC pump under the hood - and occasionally it caused problems there was a TSB about it.

I don't remember details - but looking around for wires that were pinched or close to moving parts would be a first step.

Look at the wiring right behind the fuel filter. As I recall thats where the 06's had a wire chaffing issue.

ok I will do that and if I find any issues there I am guessing I can just tape over the wires so they are insolated again or cut out that section and splice in new if its too bad.

Thanks

I am going to look behind my fuel filter as well, could be one of the Gremlins in my Sport with 90K on it?
