Anyone know if there are any adaptors to allow the use of a Hi-Lift jack on a stock KJ without rock rails ?? Eventually going to do an OME spring lift so I wanted to get the jack ahead of time before I needed it  I'll still have the stock F&R bumpers so I know I can't lift/jack from those. I did a search and only found 6 matches for "hi-lift", mostly dealt with where to store it on the KJ. Thanks All..... 8)

There is a kit that uses the rim to lift it but would require you to carry jack stands since you have no bumpers or rock rails.

i find that when using my jack on my rails or bumper, it destroys my line-x and the jack really is not that sturdy. where the foot connect to the jack that is a ton of wobble!

I just use the stock scissor jack. I bought just the "Offroad Base" from Hi-Lift, which is basically just a 4" riser, I can place the stock scissor jack on that - works fine. A couple of 2x6 would also work as a riser base, and I think AEV makes a riser base for the JK Wrangler scissor jack (not sure if that would fit a KJ jack but it looks like it).
Not a solution for using a Hi-Lift jack, but you can still use a stock jack with a lifted KJ.

Any chance you might have a link to these fine products ?? :D Sounds a bit easier to stow and deal with a riser plate.

Here are links to Northridge 4x4. :google: around to find them a bunch cheaper, I was able to get the Hi-Lift one from Amazon. Also, not sure as to the AEV one, it looks like it should work but is also meant to fit in the jack storage compartment of a JK. The Hi-Lift one works great.

Don't know where to get it but I've seen the adapters that hang off the lifting arm and grab the pinch weld and distribute weight over the rocker....not sure if they'd work on a liberty though????

If you're in a pinch, just find the sturdiest part and go to town. You will probably dent the sheet metal a bit but if it's your only option it's your only option....plus, it's just sheetmetal!!!

These guys have tons of accessories!! http://www.expeditionexchange.com/hilift/

OMG those bases are more than I paid for my hi-lift.

Anyone just fashion one out of plywood? I'll keep a chunk of 3/4 flooring plywood handy I think - cheaper anyway and pretty strong.

As to scratches from hi-lift, I just stuffed a shop towel into the front lift point on the ARB and it has no gouges... yet.

I use the Lift-Mate from HiLift. I do carry an extra Jack Stand in my Tool Box but they are handy to have on standby anyway. The Cool thing is that I've been able to assist other people with flat but no Jack... Lift-Mate works on anything you can hook it to. Just remember to put the safety pin in. I saw a video somewhere where a guy was complaining because it kept jumping off the jack. There is a Pin to hold it on.

i too use the lift mate for my rear wheels. Works great and, as wayne mentioned, can use it for others who don't have a jack.

Just a word of warning, common sense really, use caution when using this kind of jack. i am very cautious when using it and have still had instances where the vehicle shifted and the foot of the jack wanted to slip out. Completely safe and reliable so long as the user is mindful and i love my Hi-Lift.
