20 plus for any one stage. :banghead: uggggh

We need to agree on one to make this easy.

We should cross forums also.

Thoughts?

Personally I really only want the 3rd stage/version. If im gunna get rock rails might as well do it right the first time. Im not a member to any other liberty specific forums only outlawed offroad which has all liberty's from here, but crossing forums would definitely help.

When i asked JCR, they said 20 of ANY of the three stages, unless they have said otherwise i think that still stands. Unless i misinterpreted it.

Hopefully this picks up more interest this next week and week end. If i find any Kj's without rock rails at Rausch im going to see if they are interested and give them my number :seuss: . But everyone, interested or not, please spread the word for us! this group buy would help all of us out, and get JCR's named out there for the liberty's so they may start producing other parts for our rigs!

Just received my JCR Stage 3 rock rails today! They look good, now I just have to prep, paint and install them. Got in on the "last" day of the 15% off!

Put me down as a strong maybe.
When are we thinking about ordering? I think if we had a set date it would help. Don't limit the list to 20. Try to get maybe 25 - 30 people incase some back out.
OFF TOPIC but as captian of my cross country team I had the duty of designing our hoodies for the season... what a head ache getting peoples money is a PAIN. I found that setting a date worked and told people that if they didn't get me the money they were SOL. Some how I still came up a bit short and still had to pay out of pocket for the printing... oh well we had nike with personalized names and nicknames for every runner.

hahah i put you down on the list. I've been trying to think of a set date, but i'm having a hard time deciding when. How would April 25th work for everyone? That gives us two weeks from today and hopefully enough time to find at least 20 members.

Honestly I would say that date is a bit too soon. May 24th seems a bit better because it will give us over a month to spread the word/ collect funds. That's also another pay day which could help some. Just an idea. If we do decide on april I should still be able to get in!

If you need 20 to get the discount you better plan on needing 100+ to commit as 75% always backout at the last moment.

I can extend it to may if it will help with the buy in for sure. Im not trying to get mine asap, just want to get them on before summer. Ill make the date May 15th for now, to give us over a month, and we can extend it if need be. I'll put it in the first post. and TJ, im hoping we can get a deposit system kind of going for this. As we get closer to the day, say each person tosses in 75 bucks towards their rails, but that can be figured out as we go.

Once you get like 10 or so people committed, we can start talking about arranging payment. It might be easier for everyone involved if they just called in and placed their order directly with us. So, keep digging and we'll set something officially up for you once there is more interest.

So these are shipped as bare metal? No powdercoating or paint as is shown on the pics? Hmm...

Okay thanks brimy! They do come as bare metal, I didn't know that at first but I'm going to have them powdercoated or I may just spray paint them since they'll need touch ups anyway.

Yep. Because of the size and weight of these packages (67" long, 14" wide, 6" thick and 100lbs) UPS always managed to damage the finishes we once offered. :dizzy:

The box mine came in looked like it'd been through hell. I don't think any coating would have survived UPS treatment.

Oh well. Spray painting them will be better anyway. Will allow us to touch them up when they get scratched and rusted. Plus, we can make them any color.
