I had forgotten all about a set of stock CRD springs I have. How do they compare to 790's as far as the weight rating goes?

I know Tom can answer the exact weight difference but I think the CRD spring is just about the same if not slightly higher. Be aware though the stock CRD spring will sag just as quick as the other stock springs. I would just go with the OME 927's if ya can pop for them.

OME 927's are 400 lb/inch
stock CRD are 410 lb/inch
OME 790's are 500 lb/inch

Terry,

I ran the CRD springs with my cheapo rough country lift and they were over compressed in a few months with the M8000, and ARB. since then I'm running the OME 790 rustys upper strut plate and 3 clevis conduit nuts. It is the perfect setup, rides great, highly recommend it.

I went ahead and ordered the 790's. I don't remember how many miles were on the CRD springs anyway. They are scheduled to be delivered on the 29th. But, thanks for the info!

Terry
