Hey guys,

I just installed this budget boost kit. And I am now getting severe pops while turning left and or hitting bumps. I dont know exactly what is causing the issue as of yet (I have only put about five miles on the kit). I was just wanting to know if anyone is or has delt with the problem with their lift kit or anyone else? If so, what was to outcome/cure? Thanks

don't know about the turns - but the bumps are your front shocks dying.
The On the Top lifts have been known to kill them in a weekend (search OTT lift)
the lift doesn't have a good bumpstop - so the suspension stops on the shock internals
only takes a couple of goo hits to kill them.

at minimum - add some good bumpstops - better yet get a real lift OME will add height and improve the drive

bumpstops

correction: - don't use LOST search it can't find OTT - use Google advanced - work much better

Crawl under it and re-tighten your sway bar links. Mine was making similar noises after putting on the OME lift and that's all the problem was.

Thanks guys, I wish I would have known the quality of the product. I was under the impression that they sold quality sh*t. :grim:

I've had great results from All-J's they support the forum and they know KJ's
and JeepinbyAl will bend over backwards trying to make sure things work well
(although he's been a little slow on shipping lately)

most of the other vendors are hit & miss - a few weigh heavily on the miss side.

Word of advice, typically when it comes to our libbys, budget and quality are opposites. You cant have one with the other :ROTFL:

Its not just the "Libbys"
If you want cheap you get cheap no matter what it is
Like my wife always says "Bure Agahli"
translated to English "Cheap is expensive"

And I just did what I always preach not to, bought some new bar stools for the new house, bought cheaper ones than I wanted and they are junk after a week :banghead:
Now to try and sell them for 1/2 price at a yard sale!
