So I'm fairly certain my bearings are going out. The thing that sucks is it may be at all four wheels. I'm getting the classic whir going down the road that changes depending on which way I'm turning. But only at highway speeds.

I had heard that after driving if you touch the wheel and its hot, thats an indication the bearings are going, but I touched each one they are were freakin HOT. The passenger side was almost too hot to touch. Mainly I was touching the lugnuts, but I didn't know if that was a good indicator they were going out. I know that they are, but if they were getting that hot, I'm concerned something bads going to happen.

So, how hot is too hot for the wheel? Is any heat bad? I would figure they would get fairly hot just being near the brakes.
