Ok all, I finally got everything ordered for my lil' custom lift! I ordered the front and rear bilstein shocks that ya'll recommended and a set of front and rear OME springs. The install is set for the 18th, so I will have pictures coming as soon as I can! :pepper:

The day is getting so close I can feel it! :5SHOTS: I think I have decided to keep the stock 17's and get them powder coated and get some 245/75s on there...not sure which kicks I have decided on. Anybody recommend some tires? I dont want to spend my whole bank account on them, but I dont want some crappy tires either :banghead:

Nice! Finally someone gets an ome lift on a KK. Which springs did you get?

They should fit just fine. When i had my daystar at exactly 2" with fresh springs i had plenty of room to spare. Will you take before and after measurements from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare and pics from the same angles? A few of us here want to see the results of an ome lift on a gas KK. I think the only other guy on the forum who has it is from greece with a crd.

Absolutely...I had no idea that no one has used OME on these KK's! :jester: It feels great to be a first at something!

Another quick question...i was going back over the paperwork...it says the OME will provide 1.5" of lift, can I expect to get more out of this?

you should notice a little more then 1.5" of lift. the tire size should fit fine but you will notice a power and mpg drop becuase they are between 31-32" and most people stay at 31" or less because the effects arent as noticeable.

So maybe a 245/70 would be a better choice to keep under 31?

Oops i didnt notice you have 17's. I would run 245/70/17. I have have the hankook dynapro atm for six month and really like them. They are resonably priced, 50k warranty, perform well, and so far are wearing well. I got them from discount tire w free shipping.
