So have you figured out your vibration issue yet? I am going to crawl under mine today to check my driveline u-joints for wear. If those are no the culprit then I will check the torque converter bolts to see if they are backing out again... My vibration really starts buzzing once the TC locks up and acceration is harder. This all came on in about 2 1/2 tanks of fuel after a 3000mile smooth vibration free trip to Bluff Utah and back. I hope its the ujoints..

edit: It was the rear U-joint....[/quote]

Mine turned out being the rear U-joint as well.

well, I know this thread is agin but.... ok I just had my FT tune done and now im getting that sort of rattling/vibrating, I think its coming from the right side by the turbo area. Skid plate is ok, everything is tight and snug and looking at the mounts from underneath they look ok. the noise is always between 1900 and 2100 rpm excep when cruising on the freeway, also it is louder when cold than at normal operating temp. I test the MMs besides looking at them by putting it on reverse and drive and there were no differences on the vibration and it doesnt increase or decrease at stop sings. however, I notice that when the libby is just started in the morning it sounds like when the muffler bolts are loose or broken (check them and they are ok).
suggestions plz.
thnx

From Pathfinder on the first page: When I pulled the old ones out, they looked ok. I expected to see tears or cracks or some such.

Apparently, it isn't always obvious . . .

A LONG SHOT... I sometimes swear my vibration is harmonic, which I've ruled out maybe everything except lift pump. Reading the old posts it seems to have helped smooth out the engine.
