So I need alittle help picking tires, and I was hoping some could help me alittle bit. I have two brands in mind both are AT's and under $600, so if you guys have any other suggestions thats the criteria.

Ok first is the more money of the two.

General Grabber AT 2, Ive read about them and they sound great, just what Im looking for and they have a more aggresive look to them.

Second there cheaper but still have a good rating.

Kumho Road Venture AT, I read some stuff on them and people like them but Im not sold on them. But for the price if there worth it then I would buy them.

So if you guys have any suggestions or comments about the two above Id really appreciate it.
Thanks

They only time I EVER hear of them sucking for tread wear is when someone puts them on a Heavy Duty truck (think 2500, 3500 series, etc.)

BTW I don't think General would put a 60,000 tread wear warranty on something that SUCKS for tread wear.

Oh, and good luck paying more for silent armors! I'd rather buy Goodyear Dura-tracs for that price!

Check out the Duratracs if you can afford them. I believe Tommudd is getting great mileage out of them.

If you want a good, all around AT tire the Firestone Destinations wear great and preform pretty good in pretty much any condition. Not to bad of price either.

I now have the Duratracs and love the look and feel of them.

I made it through a rainy day at the Badlands Off-road park in Attica, IN on Destinations, they did really good.

i dont mind paying more for silent armors, but do like the duratracs as well. the guy at tire pro's near me said that its sad the wear on my grabbers have already, but he also said their customer service sucked, cuz he tried to call on my behalf to tell them about the wear. mabey thats why im so bitter about them. not looking to start a debate just sayin that so far they are by far the worst i have ever owned. i loved the toyo open countrys but they wear fast as well. im either going duratracs or silent armors next.

After owning the Firestone Destinations, I must say that I’m very impressed. Firestone had a sale in June for buy 3 and get 1 free. They are affordable and one of the better A/T tires IMO.

I'd look at these as well Moose.
245-75-16 Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 $150.00 each
LT245/75R16 Outlined White Lettering 120/S E Load range.

BTW, that was the first tire joint that came up.
You might be able to do better price wise.

I have falken high country's in 235/75s. I love em. Went to the mud hole with them and didn't get stuck once. They are quiet on road and are great in wet conditions. Is recommend them to anyone.
