I just ordered a set of 245/70R16 Falken High Country A/T's and I'm not sure if I want to run the white letters out or in. I think both options look pretty good, but I'm wondering what other Jeep owners think.

Here's the tire for anyone not familiar with the brand.

Run the white letters out on the passenger side and them in on the drivers side. :ROTFL: Seriously though, run them however you want. Its your Jeep. BTW, good lookin' set of tires.

Happy :JEEPIN:

At one point I was looking at the Falken Rocky mountains...I liked the rugged look but I kept seeing reviews of them swerving all over the road. Anywho, black walls is the new gaga.

I have those exact tires in 225 75 16, but I went with the white side facing in. :) I only have one complaint with these tires, and that is that they sound just like normal tires up to about 10k miles, then they started having excessive road noise very suddenly. Road noise wouldn't bother me, it just seems like it shouldn't be an issue with all terrains relative to mud terrains...

My stock wrangler tires are white lettering facing out. I actually like it a lot. But, my kk is also white.. so it helps the balance with the black. But like das4x4 said, it's your jeep, do em how you want :)

In have to say..its funny the things you think about..Ive been collecting parts for the next step on my jeep for a while now..including the tires. And have been struggling to decide if its in or out for the white letters. I have a black jeep so im thinking in, but either way it doesnt really matter. The letters dont make the tire or the driver :SOMBRERO: My neighbor has the same tires i got, General AT2's, and has them in and i like the look...seems..more gritty haha

I've decided to go with them out. After seeing the tires in person (ordered online), the lettering isn't really large or obnoxious. I think they'll compliment, rather than detract from, the overall appearance of the Liberty.

Thanks for the input everyone!

IMO Jeeps don't look right with blackwall tires. :)

They've been on since Thursday, so I only have driven a couple days with them, but so far I haven't noticed any.

The tires look great! Same as the ones I have as I mentioned above. FYI, the vibration I mentioned earlier wasn't caused by the tires, so you're safe  I had my left wheel bearing go bad on me.

Nice looking Jeep! I've always liked that color with black accents, looks good. Back when I had my Tacoma I always drooled over this one:

No vibration so far and no rub. I took a cruise out to the Bloomsburg/Berwick area last Thursday to check out the flooding on the Susquehanna River, and it downpoured the entire time. The tires handled great on the wet roads that had many areas of standing and/or running water on them. So far I like them a lot, and wouldn't hesitate, at this point in time, recommending them.

Looks great!

Any issues with the stability control, traction control, or anti lock brakes disagreeing with the larger tires? I. E. ABS activating when coming to a stop on dry pavement.

Also, how far off is your speedo now? Any plans to have it recalibrated?
