CRD Sightings

Saw one in Rio Rancho, New Mexico just today. It was a CRD Limited. Oh wait... it followed me home after I paid for it a couple weeks ago! Looking forward to the CRD experience. Already fixed the LR window after it fell (Stieger Performance is the best!) and just replace the rear window struts. This is gonna be fun! :pepper:

Oh yeah Friday evening about 2300, passed a black sport CRD heading west on I66 near Manassas.

Passed a black CRD with Alberta plates heading eastbound on Hwy 3 out of Creston, BC.

Well I saw her again to day and stopped and talked to her , told her about LOSTJEEPS , she wrote it down , she just had the alt replaced and 169k on it

Yesterday, Friday 9/9 I saw one parked at the Napeague Harbor launching ramp, Amagansett, NY, off the beaten path. PA plates, green, looked pretty much stock, no significant markings but for the yellow road paint on the driver's side... It's the only other one I've seen out here except for the white limited that lives just down the road from me and I see on the road a lot. Haven't met the guy yet but his rig is also stock.

It was downright raining CRD's on the east end yesterday. Did a long bike ride and saw 3. One was the white limited that lives a few miles down the road, mentioned above, stopped across from Four Oaks deli in Montauk. Second sighting was the green Limited with PA plates ("NACMBNS" or something like that) mentioned above, parked at the Clam Bar on Napeague stretch. The third was another Limited, silver, stock-looking, NY plates pulling out of the Lobster Roll on Napeague stretch then cruised past me a few minutes later headed westbound on rte 27.

CRD heaven today. Black Limited, 7100 outside of Ft Belvoir around 1800 heading west, mid 40's suit talking on th ephone.

CRD sport in green on 50 in Chantilly with a lift on OEM 16" heading west near the Acura dealer.

Saw another one but forgot where it was.

Saw a silver limited exactly like mine in laffeyette,IN which is about 1 hour from where i live. I think ot had a bad intercooler hose cause it was smoking constently.

Saw one with a green diesel engineering sticker on it at Buehler Jeep on rt 35 in Hazlet. Spoke with the tech and said they're replacing the engine on it as it jumped a gear inside the timing case $10,000 job he said.

Saw a white sport CRD at Costco parking lot in Avondale, Arizona. On Saturday, Oct 2nd around 2:00 in the afternoon.

Saw a white CRD limited on US 412 headed out of Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Tuesday October 4th. Had Nevada plates. Besides ours, it's only the second one I've seen in northwest arkansas.

two days after getting mine, I saw my first CRD in the wild....

Silver KJ Sport
It was 2 cars ahead of me driving through the Tim Horton Drive thru @ Tilbury in North Delta @ 12:05 on Tuesday.

The hand that retrieved their order looked female from my position.

Heh, I had two CRD sightings in two days... A silver CRD (I think it was a limited) and a white sport, both parked next to my khaki limited in my driveway for a timing belt service party!

The next day (today) the silver one was back, as we were playing under my hood swapping glow plugs to the new metal ones, and trying out a turbo rebuild. More to come elsewhere about all that.

This was a fun weekend for me, I hope the great guys I met (papaindigo and Lgoodbar) also had a blast!
