SWEET! It's about time you did something to that Jeep. Hey, you should start a build thread so we can keep track of all your happenings. :JEEPIN:

well, let's see, since it was like 9 billion degrees in Oklahoma this summer and Rokee has never experienced hot weather her headliner came down in very short order and needed to be replaced, instead of the boring gray, I chose to go with blackImageImageImage

and then I decided I wanted to repaint the bumpers, so off they came and were quickly sent to the local sandblaster......

Headliner looks great! I'm sure the bumpers will come out great as well! :JEEPIN:

....meanwhile, while the bumpers were at the sandblaster, I got to thinking...paint and primer was going to run me around 150.00 so I called the sandblaster and asked him what he would charge me to powder coat everything, he said 300.00 total which included the sandblasting which when you add in the paint and primer was only an additional 50.00 so what the heck (btw at this time I was and still am nursing a ruptured disc in my back so this solution had great appeal to me)

by pure coincidence I received a rather large check in the mail, so I decided to go on a shopping spree.....

Rokee is now approx 300lbs heavier in armor, and new lights, so here are the pics, she is 98.75% finished now 8)

Oh I almost forgot, had lunch with my best friend today, we stopped by the local 4Wheel Parts Store, and he noticed me looking at the onboard air compressors, so I received a belated birth day present today from my bro Jim!

Rhett,

all I have left now is to get a 3 gal air tank, and hoses, run wires for the compressor, plumb it, get new rims and tires, and she will finally be finished

....oh and an Oklahoma hail storm so I can Diggerize my ride...

That will be a good feeling when you're all done. I have too many projects going on at the same time to get anything done. Hmmm, I hear a second XJ project coming up for you................

I was wondering if you were still alive....how's the weather out there treating ya? Better on your health, well, other than your back?

Looking good......for an XJ :goink: :goink:

Do us a favor, when your posting pics, put a space between your tags, it will stack the pics instead of across the page.
