Here's a girl that's after my own heart. She has a modded Jeep that she's proactively involved in. If I was a kid, I'd be asking if she was single.

I know, me either!
I hope to have it finished in the Spring.
Made some new Jeep buddies (one of them I graduated with)...one said he could make tube doors for me....sooo :juggle:
Might have them help me weld some metal on the bumpers to cover the empty spaces...

One has a built TJ and the other has a 2dr XJ.
Had a long conversation with them about my Jeep, troy's Jeep, LOST ECS 2011 and jeeps in general.

It was a very good day
Best part was having 3 men watch me take flex pics of the KJ and all of them were starring, pointing at my jeep.
Apparently my Jeep was so good, it convinced the owner of the TJ to buy a KJ. He said his dream was to buy a disiel KJ and do a SFA swap. I had to break his dreams and tell it it's already been done. :ROTFL:

To the haters, a Jeep is best when it is his or her own. It would seem to me that Sara is doing just that.

Can't wait until mine looks like none other :P

Keep up the Mods!

Today I moddified the rear plastic bumper to fill in the empty spaces and relocated my license plate.

Using a Dremel, I cut squares out for the bolts to hold on my license plate. I used one washer in between the license plate and license plate frame; then one behind the TJ bumper along with a nut to secure my license plate.

...and the finished product

Next was to fill in the rear spaces...I trimmed up the rear plastic bumper and then reattached it. It was still hanging loose so I drilled some holes in the rear fender to the rear bumper; and used zip ties to secure it. Sort of looks like white stitches. Makes it look unique.

Here are the gaps filled in...

I removed the right rubber front piece because it was blocking me from getting my spare back on. The one on the left is being used to help futher secure my license plate.

I'm SLOWLY making progess on this project....

Zip ties come in every color under the rainbow(including black, wink, wink). I keep a couple of different colors for color coding wires.

So I saw the thread on how to mount a front TJ hitch to a KJ. I'm thinking about doing this to mine, but a few things worry me:
-Will it work/fit with my current bumper set-up?
-Will there be clearance issues?
-Will this hold up?

What do you all think?

It's a better way to recover than your TJ bumper. It looks like it would fit. Go to a local hitch dealer and have them take a look see. If it hangs below the front cross member it'll probably work.

Well I was going to make my own tow points out of hitch bars and mount them inside the frame with two grade8 bolts (per side). It has been done before and might be the cheaper way to go, yet effective and I would still have great tow points.
Maybe I should wait to do this til I get my stinger on. :juggle:
