Finally time to change one out on my 2002 KJ...

Got a Timpkin unit shipped from Rock Auto today $143.50 shipped...
I assume the installation is similar to a TJ or YJ

remove the wheel, brakes and take out the three hub bolts (anyone know what size bolts? 13mm 12pt?)

Anything else I should worry about?

Thanks

Frank

E-14 or E16 comes to mind. Will look in morning to be sure.

When you cannot hear yourself think because of that annoying noise that's coming from the front of your rig.

Jack up the front, check wheels for play.

The CV seized on the hub splines. Bring PB Blaster and a BFH.

Thanks for the input! I'll be wrenching on it in the morning... anyone know the socket size for the unit bearing bolts? On a YJ, TJ, XJ it's a 13mm 12 point socket

Got it done today - socket size is an E14

Had trouble getting the rotor off

found this trick online, worked great

The hub was seized on too. Can't really get a hammer behind to whack the bolts. I ended up using an air chisel all the way around the flange.
