Trying to adjust the '08 Parking Brake --> Fail

So, I researched across this forum to see if I could find a way to adjust the parking brake on my '08 KK and found some conflicting information. With no pictures of the '08, I made the assumption that it was relatively close to the KJ and used this thread as a reference to attempt the adjustment. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=187268#p187268
Unfortunately, I was completely wrong. Upon taking apart the console, I found the below assembly:

As you can see, there is no adjusting "tab" like on the KJ. Does this mean all KK owners are SOL? I looked up the H28 recall, and it only applies to Manual KKs, so I can't even claim that as the problem.

Any thoughts?

There is no adjusting tab on the KJ either,what the person did in that link is what is done to lockout the parking brake when servicing the cables(replacing) and is in no way a adjustment.The FSM clearly states there is no adjustment for the parking brake unless you install new shoes then you use the star adjusting wheel located in the rotor hate just like the old drum brakes.
