I have the trucks dash lights set quite dim.
Last night on the highway they came on full for 1/2 second then back to dim.

I wiggled the switch but couldn't make it happen again.

Anyone ever see this?

I have mine set similar. Mine does this every once in a while. I've played with adjusting it one click up or down and that usually makes it go away for a while.

This is normal behaviour. Mine does it about once a month since new.

The cops were prowling that night and I was gabbing with the wife while driving all too slowly.
And yet, this red liberty followed me closely and didn't pass. :grim:
I figured it was either a system refresh or the devil muckle-beaming me from behind.

Liberty came in red?

My 2006 CRD has done this to me as well. I honestly believe it is a precursor
to a battery change. Mine started acting up about 8 months before my factory
red top crappped out.

Whether its hot or cold out, new battery or old - mine has done this AT LEAST once every day. I too have the dash lights dimmed.
