I have not had any starting issues for over a month while performing the daily routine of bleeding any air from the system every morning before starting since it had gotten cold outside.

Results of the first test drive with lift pump installed;
Throttle response and engine smoothness seem better.
But-- After shutting off engine, it would not restart :x This is the first "Hot" no start I've had.
After two failed attempts, I bled the pressure off of the filter head, then after a longer that normal crank time is started and ran fine.
Is a new MPROP going to be needed in the near future????

As a follow-on for that, how difficult is it to replace the MPROP, what is involved in the procedure?

Continued from this morning.
Spent the day in town doing errands, the jeep started just fine 7 times after shutting off while shopping.
Came home, unloaded the groceries and then nothing. Second time today it failed to start hot.
After five cranking attempts, I pulled the lift pump fuse and released all pressure off fuel head. Waited a minute and it fired up and ran fine, no smoke.
Is the lift pump aggravating a sticking MPROP?
GDE, what do you think, and do you still have MPROPs in stock for sale?

As soon as you think you have it figured out, the rules change :dizzy:
