I guess you are right. I just wanted to comment on how clean it looks. Almost as if it was suppose to come like that from the factory.

Ben - that grip tape looks good on there. Blends in with the color of your truck nice.

Tokyojoe - that paint is supposed to be bombproof. Allen said he's seen it used in the buckets of skid-steer loaders without scratching off. That's some mean stuff! Besides, it's not really as silver as the pict makes it look. It's grey. It's on the blue edge of grey, but it's grey. And it still a bit glossy, which is what makes it look silver in the pict.

NU ARTY BOY - I'm not sure how much that winch mount costs. Sorry.

Richard - I'm thinkin' we just have them fab a big 'ol steel tub for the bottom of the truck. Front to back coverage with one piece of metal. :-) That would RULE! Ha! Actually, I need to get the parts that I DO have onto the truck before I replace them. Gotta get the CB put in there and see if the one I have works or if I should look at a more permanent solution. We still on for an install party May 20 in Richmond? Mike, you interested in going? Skids, front hitch, CB antenna and Daystar lift to be put on mine.\ You got anything you wanna put on yours? We'll have all the tools strewn about...might as well. Or you could just sit there and watch Richard work.

The 20th is good for me. I don't need anything installed so I'll just "supervise" If it is a nice day, I might just ride on of my two wheeled jeeps to Richmond.

Hey guys,
This is Andy from CRS......I have been in and out of here over the past few years but have started checking back on here recently.

I am glad I got to meet with everyone....no prob on picking up lunch. We get the "super special" emplyee discount because we are there all the time.

Glad everyone is happy and if any of you are interested in Skids let me know. I would be willing ot put a group buy on some skid row stuff together for you without a problem.

Give us a shout if we can help with anything and I will try to check back in.

Thanks again
Andy

Are these attached to the frame box AND the pinch weld? Can't tell from the pictures, but they look nice.

CRSMacgver - What's up Andy! Thanks for lunch! That place was GREAT! The rails are INCREDIBLE! We'll talk about a skid group buy and give you a call.

AllJeep - Andy is better able to answer your question since it was him and the other guys that were drilling all those holes (thank the Lord above that I didn't have to do that in my driveway!!!!). But I think the answer is, yes, frame box and pinch weld.

Richard - Cool, I'll get there early and we'll bang it all out quick. Got a big box from Daystar on my wedding day. Hee hee! We'll do the lift first, skids second, and dive into the front receiver only if we're sure we have time to get it done before you have to tux it up for the night. ;-)

We'll see you there Mike! I doubt you'll take the Roadie alllll the way to Richmond, so I look forward to seeing the Venture!
