Hey, I just wanted to know if anyone has fabricated a custom bumper? but not like an A.R.B.
I have a design in the works, but I am wondering what sort of problems anyone else has run into.
any comments?

Talk to Rock Lizard. He is making one right now for LOST and all KJ owners.

You can find info and pictures in this section.

well I did find him and his project, but it looks to much like an A.R.B or a Trail Ready,
did I look in the wrong place?
I am thinking about making it with more of a pre-runner flair.

I look forward to seeing a pre-runner style KJ bumper. I always thought it could be done pretty cool that way. Have any drawings or plans you can share on here?

Um..... someone could steal your plans??? Where you not asking if anyone had any problems with theirs? Rocklizard puts food on the table with his work. No need to flame me, just don't understand your reply above.

No offense, but if we all had the means to steal your ideas and make bumpers, we would ALL be running around with cool, tricked out custom bumpers on our KJs. We just want you to post it so we can say "cool bumper, can't wait to see it on your Jeep!"

 How true! If your looking to steal a perfect bumper, just copy All J's. I'd buy one. Now I anxiously wait for Rock Lizards front bumper debut at Moab for an alternative to the ARB! Lets see what you got. Nobody will make them anyway.

Besides, everyone will know it was your idea first.

I'm sorry everyone, I didn't mean to offend anybody.
It's just that where I live there are many custom mods on Jeeps, Fords,Chevys, etc...
and when you start talking about an idea usually someone gets to it first.
so again I am sorry.

But once I figure out and fine tune my design, I will be more then happy to post it.....I'm pretty sure it will be good......
well at least for a girl. LOL

If you are planning a tube front bumper, that is cool. I mentioned that idea a time or two and wondered how one would look on a KJ.

Well it will be a tube bumper, and it will look great...well at least in my eyes,
I guess everyone else will be the judge of that.
If i could draw better I'd attach a picture. But I wouldn't wish that on anyone,
other then my hubby :)
