Plenty....his water wasn't very high to some other water crossings I have done and seen. The doors are very tight unless you just have a bad seal to begin with. The KJ is tight...tight...tight

Give it a try if you are up for it. Just don't try and be a submarine.

Yeah that'll get you the first half of that badge of respect.....these TJ guys really make you earn it when you're in something other than a Wrangler....so if you do get lifted and locked .... get it out there and show them what we can do.....and don't forget the pics!!!

How deep can you go anyway before you get water in the Airbox? The manual sais the maximum depth you can go through is 20 inch :D but I guess thats kinda low. Maybe until it reeches the grille? Another question, what 4 wheel drive mode can u drive on road, Part time or Full time? I think it is full time but Everytime I drive it on road and I do turns, it feels like the KJ is under alot of tension, like something is locking up.

Full time is for on-road use and part time is for off-road :)

Its called wheel binding and its not good. If you want to have it in 4WD on dry roads then leave it in FULL-TIME.

The air intake on mine is about an inch over top of the passenger headlight. The deepest part of that crossing I did, it got about half way up the headlights. Didn't have an issue, my engine was brown when I opened the hood, and my radiator was chunked up with stuff out of the water and mud.....but no issues to complain about.

Are you sure that you are in full-time? That just sounds a little wierd....
Why do you need the full-time in Alabama anyways? Do you get a lot of rain or something this time of year? I could understand if there was an ice storm or heavy snowfall but its April.

I'd look in your owner's manual and read up on what it says. Or spend 500-600 bucks on a decent set of tires. Then you won't need the 4WD until you start wheeling in that famous red clay you guys have!!!

I hear you! Where I am I am the only KJ that goes wheeling, and I must say I get some good laughs because of my Jeep and because I'm a women.
But my Hubby has A true kick booty YJ so that helps me, this summer we are putting a Rocky Road 2.5" lift on her, and getting some 31's for her as well.
Then the tube bumper......with a pre-runner flair.
Next I want to kick some booty!!!!
They might have some decent rigs, but most of them aren't that "with it".
and couldn't drive to save themselves.
