I was putting on the oem roof rails on my jeep kk and accidentally over torqued one of the bolt and the stud broke into half. (my torque wrench failed and didn't click at the appointed torque value!) the rail seems sturdy enough with only 3 bolts (1 front and 2 rear) on it but I am a little concerned about the durability of the rail now.
Went to dealer today and they asked $110 for labor to weld a new stud on my roof

and $10 for the stud and nut. Major rip off.

Should I bite the bullet and let them do it or is there any other path I could take?
