looks like a great install, but not a fan of the curt as it hangs down lower than stock :/

I have dinged the bumper a few times hitching alone in the past and wanted extra space between the ball and the plastics. Didn't need any holes on the bumper the curt sticks out far enough as to not having any trouble hitching by myself. yes it hangs lower and further out but hey let someone bump into it before the plastics. :ROTFL: as for angles of departure well we'll see how that goes

Nice!! Can we have some details?
From what I see:
Its a whole receiver/ tire carrier assembly that mounts from the receiver hitch mounting points.
It looks like it has a logo on it like a shop or fab company made it?

Hey Ted,
Is the knucklebone on the market or still a prototype? I don't see it on Detour's site. Can you shed some info on it?

From what I understand, mine is a production prototype so I would have to say that if it's not yer on the market, it will be. Their number (from the website) is (606) 845-0024 (606) 845-0024 or detoursusa.com. I'm sure they can answer your questions better than I can.

What are the details on the winch on the front bumper? or is it a prototype?

I don't want a grille guard or bull bar, but am wanting a winch.

It is an OME shock and coil. I'm laughing because I only posted one picture, and not the rest of them, you gotta look around for those. ;)

Extended the front and rear diff, transmission and transfer case breathers. Took about 3 hours to do all four lines.

I haven't done much ... Just wrapped the whole truck in 3M Carbon Fiber, put some 22" Vossen wheels custom wrapped in 3M Carbon Fiber and blacked out all the lights. Thats it ...

Well drove the poo poo out of her Sunday, went to Glennwood Springs, Colorado to soak my old butt in the hot springs pool out there. Smooth sailing going out. Coming back that night, nice snow storm blew in, had to stop in Vail, rest my eyes from driving thru lightspeed vision out the windshield. Drove like a champ up those steep grades, was able to pass, get away from people and going down hill, seemed to have it's own engine brake, even down the real steep stuff, kept checking the e-brake, never really went above 70 or so, figure it was the little bigger tires, definately glad I got rid of the STs coming back, Love my new KK. :D
