Budget go Copper, check or replace every 25K

Skys the limit go Double Plat replace every 100K or check, but never gap... or the tips might be destroyed...

I have always used Champion copper core plugs on my XJ and now my KK and never been disappointed with them. I have read on CherokeeForum and LOST that platinum plugs can sometimes cause the engine to run rough or misfire, but I've never tried platinum plugs myself. I'm sure some people on here run them.

I'm surprised tjkj hasn't chimed in yet.... I use copper plugs with no problems. As I've heard many times, mostly from Troy, the 3.7 was designed for copper plugs and works best with copper plugs, everything else is just a waste of money

Good, because with copper core you can "read" the electrodes when you replace them.

Platinum plugs aren't liked amongst mechanics because they leave you blind on the condition of the combustion.

Ok just to double check I'm suppose to put double platinum since came from factory with them and put copper core in and be ok? Right?

Your KK came from the factory with copper core plugs, most likely NGK.I'm not a fan of NGK so I don't recommend them,I don't like Champion either but better then NGK's so I recommend Champions. There cheap also and I run Champion coppers in my KJ.
