40 series, Super 44, or 50 series?

i don't know much about mufflers and on my KJ, all i want to do is have a more aggressive sound... if i purchased just the muffler would i be ready to go? or do i need to buy extra piping/clamps/etc.....

please help me out and if you can, be specific with what items i need to purchase, i don't want to mess up my order!

thanks everyone/anyone!

Im running a super 44. VERY loud. You will need extra piping(about 18", but double check that) and clamps as the flowmaster is much smaller than the stock.

I've been pretty happy with the 50 series. Its louder than I'd like some days but is quite a bit quieter than the 40 or the 44.

I've had a super 44 for a couple months now - I like it.

Took it to a guy off Craigslist and had it welded (better than being clamped). He provided the extra piping needed free of charge.

It is loud and the sound becomes droning at highway speeds.

Great purr at low-end and before upshifts.

Got mine off Amazon, here's a link:

I found this vid super helpful. Simple how to with everything you need to install. Part number for the muffler and everything. I should be picking up a super 44 pretty soon

If you want loud, go with the 40 or 44. If you want a nice, mild tone, go with the 50.

I absolutely love my 50 series.
