Hi all great group seems to be here...I'd like to ask if anyone has had a leak near there Oxgyen Sensor?I noticed after a oil change I was getting a oil leak, looks like it comes down the Sensor wire and drips from the plug?I tryed to trace it up but found nothing?I did see however that they didn't tighten the air filter clamp on top and was sucking air.I tightened it up...Not a large leak and only every few days I can smell it burning on the exhaust..Nat idea's?I thought maybe just over filled oil and found way to get out?Or because vaccum wasn't tight and over set everything....Thank you for any help....By the way I have 2003 Liberty Limited 3.7 4x4 and I love it.Thank you again...Ray

From what you're telling me, sounds like it could be a loose oil filter. They are only supposed to be hand tight and sometimes they dont quite get put on all the way. Another idea, when the oil change was done did you prelube the new filters gasket with a little oil? IF this isnt done, sometimes when you're tightening the new filter it can get jammed up and you wont have a proper seal. Just a few ideas.

I recently had a small oil leak that leaked onto my exhaust.

I replaced the passenger valve cover gasket and it solved the problem. Had the driver's side replaced too as a recommendation.

Maybe it's the culprit for yours?

its the valve cover gaskets. both of mine did that. right on the o2 sensor and smells like burning. rub your fingers on the bottom side of you valve covers and a bet they are wet.
