Were you able to get a new o rings? If so where did you get it? I got my inner shaft from quadatrac with the c clips but no o rings.

O-rings? There shouldn't be and o-ring that goes with the Inner CV shaft. The seals on each end of the axle housing hold all the fluid in and the are cut so the shaft seals everything in there nice and tight.

I was concerned about it seeing that the one from the factory had it but I chatted Mudd and he said he has never worried about it. I decided to trust him and put everything back together over the weekend. so far so good, I need to top off the diff with some oil that I lost but other then that seem fine. no noises or vibrations so far.

so I pulled the inner shaft from the rest of the half shaft and it looks fine other then a lot of dirt and a missing O ring. The teeth are barely worn. When I do slide it back in there it is loose and wobbles around is that normal? I don't think I need to replace the CV maybe just the inner shaft?

Seems like all the 05\06s are needed these now... do it up!

BTW... Sport. Every time I look at your jeep I want to drive mine. White is the only one that looks right ;)

Yeah, I swapped the CV and inner shaft. So far so good, rides quiet again. Well see how long the Napa CV lasts.

I got to say the white has really grown on me, I was looking for the dark blue or red but the white had everything I wanted at the time. :JEEPIN:
