The no shows really missed out, despite the rain the wheeling was great.

The last trail that Steve mentioned was the Orange Trail in the area North-East of the shop, lots of fun bermed turns.

Grumpy performed well above what I thought it would, especially since while driving to the park I discovered that overdrive was so worn that I was able to get better mileage with the van in drive. The lift, tires, shocks and limited slip rear differential installed since last visiting Badlands really helped. Was still a bit limited due to break over and the non-aggressiveness of the second hand Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I had to abort two break over crossings and Ashley and I experienced uncontrolled backwards sliding three times down the straight hill that we normally use to go down to the creek.

Note the long sliding tread marks.

Dog was my co-pilot this weekend. Here we are taking a break after the last climb attempt where the van turned sideways onto a side trail towards the end of the slide. So thought we were going to smack a tree.

Grumpy officially hit 1/3rd Million Miles on the way home, but I forgot to pull over and get a pic of the 333333. :banghead:

Thanks to Ashley for taking all these great pics.

Also, one of my Astro buddies is supposed to visit me soon and he wants to try Badlands. Might be another run in a couple weeks.
