 Post subject: no dipstick for trans????

Yeah to many poeple putting the wrong ATF in and frying the trans.

The dealership,but you also will need a scan tool that will show the trans temp in live data and the chart from Chrysler to know when it's correctly filled.Just adding a older model dipstick will not work.

i talked to a friend that worked for a Dodge, Jeep dealer and now works for Mercedes. he told me to push in the dip stick to the bottom of the pan and from there the level should be 1 1/2 to 2 inch when hot. i determended it to be hot when the E fan came on while idleing
im shure this will void your warranty if not checked by a rocket scientist @ the stealership you purchased it from.

Yeah, thats how the service manual says to check the level ( need to move through the gears too I think). There is a lookup chart that gives you the correct level for the temp.
