Timing belt replaced at 110,000 miles

388 miles in. Just got my first tank of diesel. 23.9 mpg. So far shifting is just a little weird. TC hasn't shuddered or lockuped and stalled the jeep today. Traffic is light, I got an empty bladder, a full soda, and an empty pee jug when the time is right

#2 CRD 143,000 miles. Bought used (unknown history) with 100,000 miles. Samco hoses.
Eco tune, new rockers, and 5 volt glow plugs installed at 124,000 miles

Hey man thanks for the offer, already left wv and Ohio. In Indiana right now. Hoping to be partway through Missouri before bedtime.


So far do good on the tranny. Some weird shifting but nothing else right now.

Are you picking up another rebuild CRD or doing this trip for pleasure?

About 20 miles east of Columbia mo. No major trouble. Decided to stop for the night. Hopefully tomorrow is as uneventful.

About 800 miles to go. Back on the road after a few hours nap. Transmission did some weird slippy things as I got on the interstate, and the shifting is still goofy. But otherwise I'm doin fine.

Maybe you should take the transmission into the shower with you - clean that thing up.
