help remove pilar between windshield and passenger door

hi i want to remove the pilar between the windshield and passenger door it is a white pilar that goes from the ceiling to the airvent in the front pannel, the agency did it to replace a part but it is loose i want to see if i can tighten it up, and another thing the ceiling is stained a bit it is a white ceiling and have no idea what to use to take off the stain any ideas?

You should just be able to push it back in. It is attached by clips that engage/dissange when pushed/pulled. Sixth picture down in this how to: viewtopic.php?f=104&t=29455
If you have side curtain airbags there is a cable for them hiding back there, so be careful.

For stains i've had good luck with Blue Coral upholstery cleaner.

Wesley's bleach white.
