so I do like the OME but I think I'm going with the rock krawler 3.5 with the bilstein shocks in all 4 corners with the extended 2.5's in the rear. I wanna run 255/70/16 tires so i feel like i might need the little extra lift. I'm from long island, NY and the only thing I'm worried about is finding the right person to install it anybody in the area know of someone that does good work? Also I will begin my search for the tires so If anyone has any for sale let me know.. Thanks

That RK lift does not give 3.5"of lift. Its like 2". Why not spend $20 more and get a high quality spring lift instead of spacers?
I started with the Daystar lift and kicked myself for doing it.

You should check out the Northeast section. There's alot of us from Long Island. Where on the island are you from? Those of us on the island that have lifted have done it ourselves or with each other for the most part.

JBA also sells extended rear bumpstops. They're for the 4" lift but are molded with steps in them so that you know where to cut for your lift.
I also put a 2" spacer under the rear springs, two 1/4" spacers over the front and the equivalent of one more spacer with the clevis lowered on the front. I've got about 3" of lift.
I can't say enough good things about jeepin by al.
While you're thinking about how make your bumper, you might find some ideas about how to mount it on detoursusa. Check out how it connects to the front, you may want to attach it like the backbone. :2cents:

I actually go to college at Stony Brook. I'm up that way all the time during the semester. Like I said, just check out the Northeast section. We have meet and greets and mod days randomly lol.
