ok, I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have the part numbers for the rubber bushings in the cover or the posts that screw into the engine to support the cover?

I searched for one myself a few months back and was told by the Jeep parts department that the part number for the rubber grommet doesn't exist; it is part of the engine cover assembly, for the mere sum of 230 dollars.

ouch, thanks, I spent my allotment of jeep dollars for the summer. I'll have to pass.

Look to see if a manufacturer name is stamped underneath the cover assembly and do a search for them online, maybe they may be able to get one for you.

Just a thought.

I don't know that the grommets come with the cover assembly but that assembly part # is 53013813AB and it costs under $100 list, less on line. That said 1) I imagine some folks have one laying around that they are not using and 2) the cover serves no particular functional purpose other than decoration and maybe a bit of sound deading so why spend money replacing it if it's not there?

I know this thread is really old, but adding this info here for people who find it on google search.

They sell the grommet individually for other brand cars, but it's the exact same part:

I just bought it to confirm and it was identical to what was on my jeep.

ENGINE COVER GROMMET - 68110855AA (68110855AA)
