Hahahahahha.....hasn't sold so he increased the price by $1000 to $25000. Is that because the Canadian dollor slipped about a cent vs. US dollar the last couple days? :-)r

Be careful guys. He's forwarding all harassing email to the "cyber crimes division of the O.P.P.".
If you email him and say "you're nuts", I'm sure the Canadian government will react with the full force of international law. The US will have no choice but to extradite you to Canada, the last true world super power.

I don't think I've ever read a more condescending classified ad. He calls rational CRD owners "naysayers", says we don't read the available information and we're "rolling the dice".

Get over yourself...

I think he should post it for sale in North Korea, where he might find someone crazy enought to pay him $25,000 dollars for it.

I haven't emailed this toolsack, but if he wants to whine about people insulting him on the internet... I'd be HAPPY to be extradited to the wonderful land known as Canada. Free healthcare, gorgeous women, beautiful scenery... And no Celine Dion. Where do I sign up?

As far as his whiny uninformed opinion of other CRD owners... Yea, whatever. I'm not terribly impressed with his intelligence either, trying to ask more than TWICE the market rate for an orphan vehicle. Dude, maybe you haven't noticed, but you don't have a DeLorean there. (Actually, that isn't a good comparison - Those have still have GREAT levels of manufacturer support!) Let me try that again. Dude, maybe you haven't noticed, but you don't have a Lada Niva there. No, that doesn't work either. Even the RUSSIANS supported their cars more than Chrysler.

Ya know what bucko? Feel free to go fornicate yourself. You are deeply insane for demanding such a price for a vehicle like this, and nobody is going to give you money after you spend time insulting their intelligence about how wonderful YOU think this vehicle is and that all the rest of the people on the planet are wrong.

Can I be extradited to Canadialand now?

Well said. BTW, I saw a Lada Niva in a pick and pull a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised to see it there!

I've already had my fun on his for sale ad but I do wonder how he sets his prices on http://www.jeepers.ca/ as those prices range from rather reasonable for either side of the border to so unreasonably high as to be simply highway robbery. For example $3 US for a water pump gasket is reasonable but then he wants $200 US for a $75 Gates timing belt.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the voodoo economics pricing of his vehicle.

ya I tagged it about 10 times, Kijiji still hasen't removed it, also his work email is the email address, hope he didn't get spam there too.

Its funny I asked him if he wanted to trade, I said I had a 2008 Grand Cherokee Limited Merc Diesel with 30,000km on it, and I was looking for a straight trade... he didn't reply.

Also asked if he wanted to trade 50 acres in Florida for it... its swamp land but still..

Anyways its just funny, I'm use to knuckle heads like this with my honda buddies, asking $800 for orginal Floor matts for a 91 CRX, so its nothing new really.

:POPCORN:Laughing just watching the show. But makes me think about maybe selling mine. How much should I expect from a clean ’06 w/ ~80k miles. $25,000+ because there is the potential to do ‘better’ than the recommended service interval?

I had good intentions of getting my hands dirty, but just don’t have the time right now. I am the 2nd owner. Bought it from the brother of a guy I went to college w/. We were both CE majors, TAMU class of ’89. He served in USMC and passed away about two years ago and his brother was the Executor. Never been off road or abused. Stock and everything is in working order. I added the drain plug valve right out of the gate and kept it w/ Mobil 1 & NAPA filters. I have purchased the SAMCO CAC hoses and am starting to work on rounding up the parts for the TB / WP job to have that done by end of Summer. My son says he wants it. So I am torn…….

Seriously wages in Canada are much higher than US across the population. Prices for everything higher this guy will sell jeep mark my word! Someone with diesel motorhome needs car tow in back and CRD is the shizzle they would drop money and make it rain.
