With the weather turning so nice, I can't bear to stay cooped up indoors anymore. So I want to make some wheeling plans for May. Are we still doing our own monthly run at Paragon or are should we just sign up for the Nor'easter? I will probably only be able to go on Saturday though. And I might be bringing a friend in an old Bronco. What should I tell him? Would he need to sign up for the Nor'easter as well? I believe it will be his first offroad experience.

DO BOTH! If I can I would!

As we speak, my KJ is still not road worthy. Waiting for new rear arms, and develing an adjustable rear upper mount so you can change the pinion angle, to see if I can get that damned driveshaft from vibrating.

I have not been on lately, my grass is about a foot tall, and I haven't been riding my welder for the a-arms like I normally do, all because I have been under the KJ finalizing the lift. I drove it the other day, feels ok but the rear arms are adjusted out to the max, not much thread left.

I will let everyone know when its done.

Keep an eye on the SFA postings, Wally's KJ is almost done. I am so proud, he will be running Jeepin By Al brake hoses!

They are both scheduled for the same day, that's why I'm asking.

It looks like you still have to pay the park fees, so I think registering for the NE would get you a shirt and open bar saturday?? So far, I'm in for that Saturday but havent registered because I cant stay over.

I also just registered for OK4WD's ride on April 29th at RC. I thought I'd be wait listed by the looks of the web page, but once I submitted I was added up higher than I thought. Anyone else going? The roster is listed but I dont know anyones last names!

If I could make the Nor'easter I would, but I'll be flippin' burgers at an antique tractor pull fundraiser that weekend. If anyone wants to wheel at RC or Paragon anyother weekend in May, let me know. Paragon last weekend was awesome. I guided the Stock/Modified group. We hit some new trails and If we want to try a, Lifted and Armored" ride for a May, at either park, I think we can turn it up a notch.

Hey Randy, got any particular weekend in mind? I'm just itchin to get out there. I would love to try a little more difficult stuff. I can't remember the last time I went to Rausch though so it might be nice for a change. And it's a half hour less drive to get there. But if we step it up a notch, will my friend with the Bronco be able to handle it. He has no mods that I know of, just recovery points.

May 6/7 or 13/14 would work for me. Remember, the 14th is Mothers Day. As far as the Bronco is concerned I don't have a problem with anyone joining a ride, but we will have to choose trails accordingly. I don't like to see rigs getting torn up because of my choices. Rausch has a lot of bypasses or green trails with blue or black sections adjacent to them. If we have three rigs, it's a go. David, I know you work weekends so I can work around your schedule

Ok, so I signed up for the Nor'easter. But I'm only going on Saturday. Does anyone know how they are splitting up the groups yet? I'm driving up early that morning and need to know which park i should go to.

That's great David, the more KJ's the better, even though Sandy has taken her's off the trails. I wasn't trying to take rigs away from the Nor'easter, but offering and alternative. I'm still open to another ride in May.
