What lockers? You have Limited Slip Differentals installed not lockers.1000 times better then being open/open and they are virtually invisable on the street,I know I had one installed up front before the SFA swap and loved the DTT.

DTT's don't pop or clank unless there damaged really bad and by that time the whole diff is most likely trashed.

Also cannot put into 4x4 without really bad grinding /clanking which the previous owner said only use 4x4 if offroad but it doesn't even work I don't think and on 4hi it says part time

Yeah never use your 4wd on pavement(wet or dry) since you have the command trac.Something else might be wrong also, either in the driveshafts or t-case.

sounds like you need to spend some time investigating the condition of various components and affecting needed repairs as warranted.

example: the 4HI on while in 2HI is a common problem... it's just the switch being bad.

What you're describing sounds more like a powertrax , not a Trutrac

I've got DTT's front and rear - and they never make any noises
great behavior onroad

I would take it and have both lockers and everything checked out real well
Just knowing the background of it I think it would be a wise thing to do

I don't know much about the kj lifts but it looks like I have jba arms, spacers, rancho shocks, and tereflex bump stops
