Glad that you're ok. It looks like it held up well for two rolls.

I am looking into buying this vehicle back from the insurance company.

My intentions are to salvage and sell as much as possible. Namely the engine and transmission and everything else that has value.

I would appreciate any numbers as to what I can ask for the engine, etc. Several searches put the engine in the mid 5K range.

Thanks,

Tom

A good used engine can bring $4,500 to $5,500.

A transmission $600 to $1,000.

4-5k on the engine.

Don't expect to sell it anytime soon though. You will likely sit on it for years.

Thanks guys.

The years thing is what I don't care to do.
If I can turn this engine, etc relatively soon is one thing to sit on it for years is another thing altogether.

Who's needing an engine

I have stripped everything that I feel is marketable.

We dropped the engine and transmission and front axle as a whole unit. All the wiring was disconnected at each junction as were the power steering and AC points.
The engine and transmission are bolted to the cab with ten bolts. I have 12 man hours in this project.

I have salvaged the following items:

1.all the RH side sheet metal.
2.The rear gate and glass.
3.Seats
4.Tail lights
5. Interior trim
6. Console

Four of the 5 rims are OK.

I have been real busy at the shop and will try to respond to all PM's this week.

Thanks,

Tom

What would be really good to know is in what zip code the parts are located.
