SOLD! All delivered, including all the spares I had, the whole shootin' match. The plan for it is still in flux, but it sounds like there might be a rebuild in the works. He also plans to continue tearing it down and let everyone know what the discovery is about the bottom end, as well as use his engineering skills to maybe design a supplemental oiling system for the engine. Neither one of us likes the low pressure at idle, as this might have been a contributing factor to the bearing failures. The exceedingly tight tolerances down there are also VERY unforgiving of flaws in oiling, which doesn't help.
I still have my timing tools, and have every intention of staying active and helping solve problems here. Thank you all for the interest in my parts, I personally know of at least one more CRD that is in the process of being parted out. If you sent me a PM, I will pass along your requests to that member and hopefully you will be able to get what you want / need from his.
Now, the search for a replacement vehicle really ramps up!
