OhmegaMike - I don't know if you have posted where you are but doing so or adding it to your signature would help as most of us that have tools are reluctant to loan them out offsite, so to speak, but are certainly willing to let them be used in our presence.
That said,
http://www.beesvillebeefarm.com/jeep.html used a TDI tool he had on hand; j888dth's post just above would work if I understand it correctly; and someone, don't have the link, made a decent tool out of some angle iron. Anything that would hold the gears in the same relative position with no stress on the "pins" while the cam bolts are loosened/tightened will do. However, 1) I'd still be over cautious and witness mark everything just in case and 2) just FYI there is no need to loosen cam bolts, FSM notwithstanding, unless you are doing the water pump, just be sure to count TB teeth between points before and after.
Also note the correct relative position of the 1) cam notches (facing each other) and 2) crankshaft bolts (3/6/9/12 o'clock)
