RL Super Skink sliders installed today (bought used) :BANANA:

Replaced tow hook M bolts with beefier stud plates
Retuned my CB antenna

I agree 100%. Just look again at roastbeef's Renegade. For me, the gray grill just seems to complete the package, appearance-wise.

Yes thats what I was looking at and also why I voted for him to stay body color !
Doesn't complete, takes away from. But then from a tuner view it may look better to some :dizzy:

Nothing wrong with either look as far as I'm concerned. To each his own, I suppose, but that's what's great about our Jeeps. We personalize them to what we like. For me, I think the gray/black grill, along with the blacked out bezels looks great.

but never was, never will be a fan of the off painted grills
Yes thats whats great about each doing our own thing with a Jeep or any vehicle. Been playing this game a long time now and have done about everything out there
But no painted grills looks like ya had a wreck and just found one to throw on :ROTFL:

Is it me or does roastbeef's trim look more black than gray? I think satin black would look pretty good as well. Along with some matching plastic covers for the headlights. :wink:

I had a discussion with my friend last night about the painted grille and the sticker on the hood. To me when I see a Jeep, or another vehicle with this setup, it immediately turns my head. I've been debating doing something color wise with my grille and hood, but don't want to be a poser since I have a sport, but EVERYTHING added to it to make it look like it may be a Renegade. :lol:

Well the sticker on the hood does serve a purpose which is also nice. It helps to eliminate glare coming up from the hood into the drivers eyes. Just FYI. I have plans right now for a deep purple matte on my grey Liberty.

I was suspicious it may actually serve a purpose. It would also cover the few scratches from the previous owner. It also signifies a badass Jeep. :JEEPIN:

Just the lighting. All Renegades came with the same color trim both model years.

And I'm not painting my grille.

Cleaned my MAF sensor. I'll report back with any mileage increase. It sure feels noticeably better under acceleration.

To me, I like the look of they grey grill on my jeep. If I had the blue or even the pearl green I might not have painted it But like others said to each their own... I see lots of questionable mods or things I wouldn't dare do to my vehicle but I don't post about how bad it looks.

I wouldn't mind hearing why you think a particular mod looks bad. The only thing I think looks bad on the Liberty is chrome. Saw a Liberty the other day with chrome outline around every edge of the doors. Made me throw up a little.
