Had a problem with it being sluggish when shifting from n to drive and not engaging, had the filters changed. Tech said things didnt look too bad but due to be done. This seemed to fix the slow-to-engage issue but now on occasion when stopping it will feel like its not disengaging for a couple of seconds (only when cold). Stalled on her this morning (upper thirties this morning).

The tranny may be low on fluid, check fluid level when tranny is wam, parked on level surfuce, engine is running and tranny is in neutral.

Did you use the approved ATF fluid?

Mine was down a quart and it did what you are experiencing.

Thanks, I'll check level. He looked up the type of fluid it needed so pretty sure its the correct one.

It's not uncommon for these to get underfilled during service.
