I joined a local Jeep club and went with them to Trees Ranch Offroad Park (south central Texas) for a few hours today. I did one trail with them and I was in over my head. I survived with out damage, but I was bottoming out all the time.I was the smallest Jeep there. The closest one to me was a JKU with 2" lift and I think 33". This is the only picture I got on my phone, there are other pictures that other people took and I'm waiting for them to post them.
I plan on running with them again and for longer, but I had my wife with me and she was freaking out (I was too on the inside). But I had loads of fun and they had good spotters.

Thanks! I love the look of them, plus I can't wait to take it out on some trails around here.

I know what you mean about being the smallest jeep as well, I've been out with my local club a few times and usually the smallest jeep after mine would be a Cherokee or Wrangler on 33's..and most of them are on 35's or 37's with a couple running 40's .... But I do okay, usually just pick different lines and you're good!

Here is a short video of a really steep hill I did on Saturday. EDIT I changed this to a much better video that I found.
Image

Some photos of me out there. I was disappointed they didn't get any photos of the difficult stuff, or any more photos period. This was the most difficult trail I have ever done.

It seems to be one of those colors that are popular today you just can't justify the name of.

I got my alignment re-done today, apparently I had knocked it way off on my last trip. I also replaced my front brake pads and had my front rotors resurfaced. All of my rotors were shiny and the pads had apparently been hardened? They said that for what I've done and how many miles I had put on them they should have worn a lot more. Apparently they can get so hot that the turn into a really hard solid and don't wear like they're supposed to,but start wearing down the rotor. At least that or something like that is what they told me. I guess the Brake Lock Differential (ETC) really stresses the breaks LOL. Oh well, I guess I'll have to invest in some lockers one of these days to save my breaks.

Gotta Start somewhere . The First thing I bought for my Jeep was my OIF sticker, an Engineer castle sticker.
