FYI - http://www.moparpartsamerica.com/ is a great place to get parts. Even though our parts are often made from unobtanium and priced accordingly, this place in Oregon has really made things easier on my wallet. Brian says they only mark up prices around 18%. If you know of a better place please let me know. Peace :-)

There's a group of dealer online parts places that all seem to work together.

I personally had a bad experience with the above mentioned company. They used their order number for my ZIP code and the package was in FED-X limbo. I tried contacting them by phone but they never answered. E-mails were ignored. Finally working with Fed-X I recieved my thermostat no thanks to the seller :banghead:
Another member here had the exact experience with them using his order number for his ZIP code.

If I were to order from them again I would first contact them by phone and if they didn't answer then I would go elseware.

Buyer beware :dead:

They are little more than a website and someone buying at "shop rate" from a dealership and marking up from there. I could usually beat their price+high shipping by buying direct at MY shop rate from a local dealership. I also got 24 hour delivery on most items.

Support the ACTUAL vendors that support us: ID parts, Mrausch, VM Specialist (.co.uk) and I know there was one more besides GDE. These vendors specialize in stuff for our CRDs, we should patronize them, not some random website middleman who you can't ever talk to live (or on a forum).

Geordi, this VM Specialist, do you have to call them to order parts? I don't see much on their web site. The site I found is vmdieselspecialist.co.uk

I need a set of cams, and lifters that is why I ask.

Twas a Freudian Slip, where I said one thing, but meant oh shut up. :p

Choochoo: they actually DO answer emails, but you can also call them if you fancy dealing with the time difference. They seem to do their best work around 10am local, or 5am EST. That part sucked, but they were very nice on the phone to deal with.
