It can be ordered from what I'm told. It just takes a little longer to get the converter. My ? is ? Its about 500.00 more for the Suncoast torque. I'm pulling at the most is 3500 pounds of travel trailer. It will never see any more than what I have now. I plan on taking it to the Rockies and lots of 20 hour road trips. The Hot tune will be going into the truck as soon as the converter is installed. I dont want to save 500.00 and waste 1300 later on. Should I get the suncoast or will the euro torque work for the weight Im pulling thanks.

My trailer is 3500# at the most too and I have the Euro TC and the GDE Full torque eco tune and have no problems.
I also have both a Pre F37 and post transmission controler. The Pre f-37 TCM actually lugged the engine while towing once and I need to down shift. That TCM will stay on 5th untill 54 MPH before down shifting.

Thanks I have seen a lot people talking the suncoast up. GDE says the same about the euro. I also have a full torque tune now. Planning on upgrading to the Hot tune when I install the torque converter. I believe I will give it a go with the euro. 500 in a lot of money.

If your euro costs more than the suncoast, get the suncoast.

thinking it's about 500.00 cheaper maybe 600.00 after install. You don't need the shift kit. If I get any reports of a euros failed. I will get the Suncoast for sure.

The shift kit is 60 bucks. Do it anyway, it's 30 min tops. The euro lists at 323. The sun coast is 565. Labor is the same .

Suncoast told me 695.00 and 130. for the shift kit. 75.00 for ship 50.00 core charge. Then it's 150.00 to install the shift kit. If the price was closer like what u said. I would spend the money. Who did you talk to. That sounds good. $1080.00 before I pay 425.00 to install the converter. 1505.00 before tax. The euro is 385.00 and 100.00 core 22.00 to ship 425.00 to install. I would ship the core back to get 75.00 back after ship. 835.00 my math is not very good. But is the price was closer like you said. would look again.

I talked to Ron at Suncoast.

If you have the transmission out, now is the time to get the check valve replaced, it is part of the shift kit, the pump is in the bell housing, the shifters can get done any time you drop the pan. According to those more knowledgeable than I on this site, the check valve is a major weakness in our transmissions particularly with heavier loads.

the 45rfe shift kit was 56.95 and 9.95 shipping at summit

It's your choice, and your money, it's just my opinion.

It was put in at 34K and I'm not at 56K. But I noticed shudder the very first day I bought it in May 06 :dizzy:
The dealer also put in the new style front pump at the same time.
Those two items and the lift pump have totally corrected the birth defects our CRD's were born with
