Apparently this Jeep is used for jet ski rental business in florida, so it sees a lot of salt water.

Holy poop! That's insane! I've seen my fair share of nasty rotors/toasted calipers in my days, but that's crazy. Never seen springs that bad! I did see the spring from a Ford Escort wagon split in 2 from rust, but the majority of the spring still had that coating on it. That was one of those, "hey my car is making a clunking sound, can you look at it?" type of things. :ROTFL:

older then 2006, no wheel speed sensors or wires that i can see. Not sure how the 2005s are set up. Nothing on 02 04.

That was ready for the scrap yard the 1st time it hit salt water. This is why I don't understand when people bring brand new trucks through floods here. I guess they don't understand how fast salt water destroys things.

Have seen springs like that in Northwest Ohio before
Calipers/Rotors little worse for wear but if you don't clean things they'll rust up

I remember during hurricane sandy i saw people bombing around in their jeeps and pretty little pickups and splashing in all the water and puddles.. too bad it was the salty bay water that flooded all the roads near me

I stayed at my Pop's house through the whole storm. Had 8ft of water in the yard, just 6" away from being in the house. Honestly wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't for the boats and we're contemplating filling the boat with diesel and riding it out in the bay for the next "Sandy".

I went down at 1am Monday morning of the storm and there was some flooding but I went through it since it didn't even make it halfway up the sidewalls. Then again at 5am and there was nothing. We got the call and had to go down around 8, and our friend offered to drive us down. He owns a brand new 4 door JK on 35s so there goes 1 nice Jeep lol. Then around 11ish maybe, our friend came down in his F-350. This thing is 100k truck. He's getting 500whp, god knows how much torque and is spinning 37s. I don't even know how much lift he has. Water was at the bottom of the axles, so there went another nice truck. Shame too, my Uncle was thinking about buying it from the guy too, well not anymore lol.
