I would not combine the diablo with the GDE'S ((I've put almost 100k on the Eco tune)). They work in two different ways. If you want to have the closest thing to a SRTCRD, I'd get the Hot Tune and the new turbo from Keith. At some point, you will need to re-assess all of the u-joints and other driveline weak point. You may want to contact Keith, they have tested the limits. The ARE limits. My bias is that it is a daily drive that does everything. I wouldn't want you to end up nothing but StReeT CRuD.

They have performance charts on their site and a few posts, years ago, have information where people took their jeeps to have them dyno'd.

I got the Eco tune. The difference is measurable. My main source of measurement was by tank to tank comparison. There is a definite 1mpg improvement and possibly more. Throttle response on my tune was also apparent.

Talk to Keith, I think that you'll find the Hot Tune was as far as they wanted to push the motor...especially the turbo (which would now be 7-8 and possibly 9 years old now).

Some people swear by the puck and it is cheaper. If you are monitoring EGT's and possibly more, it is OK. This is my daily driver that I sometimes require to do extraordinary things. The ECO tune did what I want it do. You obviously would want the HOT tune at a minimum.

If I were young, single and had no children; I may go for the HOT tune and the new turbo (that they developed after they stopped making them for our market) that Keith and possibly others an source. That would be fun.

Good luck,
B2

The hot tune is different than the stage ii turbo. The stage ii turbo comes with its own tune.

A local dieselshop said they can make me custom exhaust flange for any turbo I want...I am going to try to mount a VF52 turbo they said they would give me a deal on it and they said all i need is the power puck to change the fuel

That shop is in for more than they bargained for. The ECM is looking for certain boost levels at any given rpm, if not correct it will flag a code and put you in limp-home mode. What is the frame size of the turbo you are looking at compared to the stock unit?
