My 2002 Export CRD came standard with a black locking cap which uses the ignition key.

Can't help you regarding Amazon. :?

Much higher crime rate here :(

I went through three locking caps on my wrangler. Finally went to a normal one after numerous 10 minute fights to get it off at the pump. In my experience I would not recommend the OEM one if its an option.

I bought a green locking diesel cap off of eBay for about $12. Drilled a small hole on the end of it's turn handle to put the leash on it,works fine.

How did you find the right size ? Or was it just generic one size fits all....

Couldn't find one now on eBay, but here's an Amazon lead

Why would you want a locking fuel cap? There is a "Roll Over Valve" where fill hose attaches to the tank. There is no possible way anyone can or could snake a hose through there to steal fuel. The valve openings have a fine mesh across it. Even if you could drive a steel rod through the mesh, you would still have to drill through the check valve.

For a thief it would be far easier to just punch a hole in the bottom of the plastic tank......

To keep sugar, or in my case salt, from getting into your tank, stupid kids.

I really don't like the "plastic locking fuel cap's" they tend to be in the way and can be ripped off with channel lock's if some one want's to get it off. On my old Tj wrangler I bought a metal door with a lock the only way you could open that is with the security bit torx driver now If we were to put one on our kj's we would have to drill in to the body to mount it and if you did not like it you would be stuck with hole's in your jeep here's a link if no ons know's what I am talking about
